BBC visit Canvey Island.
Thought they would chat to the place that had a 72% vote leave result.

Most could barely string a sentence together.

Places like that shouldn't get a vote.

"tory power grab? do you watch much news on the tv at the moment? you have channel 4, the bbc and sky all pushing a liberal leftist agenda. "

I don't watch Sky news but I can't imagine a Murdoch owned station pushing a liberal leftist agenda!

tory power grab? do you watch much news on the tv at the moment? you have channel 4, the bbc and sky all pushing a liberal leftist agenda. I rarely see any balance apart from Andrew Neil. do you think it's healthy having a state broadcaster funded by the public constantly pushing an agenda twenty four hours a day? can't you see why people might get pissed off being treated like imbeciles when they're being spoon fed propaganda on a daily basis?

Sorry mate, all you did was facilitate a Tory power grab, you haven't made the UK better, you've enabled scum like Gove & Johnson to have their say, if they ever work out what exactly that is.

Too many people hiding behind class, working class people have zero excuses to not have taken advantage of education, and i don't mean going to Uni & getting a degree, I mean education & pushing yourself to become a better person.

Then IMO there is an under class, a class of people who expect to go through life & things just be given to them & to lash out at the nearest excuse (typically immigration) when its not available. Fuck those people.

Well said. This referendum has caused so much shock and anger within the establishment that the only way they know how to come back is to revert back to normal type and start aiming vitriol at the lower classes.

I tell you right now I voted out. For many, many reasons. Was it the right decision? I don't know yet, no one does. But one thing I do know is thay I made an informed decision and voted the way that I believed was right for the UK, me and my family not just today but for my children's grown up lives and their children. Yet I am made to feel uneducated and a racist. It's disgusting.

And I tell you another thing. The result of this referendum has made me feel very, very proud. Proud of democracy and proud of the British people who also voted out. Proud of them for standing up for what they believed in and not letting the BBC, the Fear campaign, the lies, the insults, the big corporations, Alan Sugar and his fucking ilk telling us we don't know what we are doing sway them from that vote.

Just for once the common man won. And guess what? The establishment hates it. Absolutely hates it. Because for once they never got their way and the common man has literally set a fuse under the EU bomb.

It's absolutely fucking brilliant to see all the elitest cunts squirming.

I cannot see the point of interviewing the people of Canvey, or Hampshire for that matter, right now. It will be more enlightening to visit those places several years from now to see if the leave settlement has met voters aspirations.

Where's this 40% youth unemployment come from??

Well said. And I hope that they start this by making people who claim unemployment benefits work in manual, low paid jobs to get their benefit. This may actually change the mind-set of this country whereby unemployed people think they are too good to clean a toilet or pick up litter. The next progression would then be that the gap in the labour market for low paid low skilled jobs that is currently being filled by immigrants will actually also be filled by people born in the UK. Would this then push up wages at the lower end of the scale? Hopefully.

Pond life living below sea level vote to leave the EU! Pretty obvious don't we think? Lazy journalism perpetrated on soft targets and another waste of BBC license fees. More relevant would have been a visit to Hampshire to find out why 54% of relatively affluent, comfortable folks who've never seem an immigrant in their lives also voted leave.

So if you're white and don't speak as if you were educated at Eton, you're a benefit scrounger by default.
The sheer venom and class hatred from the bitter Remainers is all too evident.
What the fuck you cunts are doing supporting West Ham is beyond me.
